It's been 4 weeks since Silas was born! We all love him so much. Abbie told me last week, "Mom, I just fell in love with Silas!" and Keely loves to give him kisses. He is such a mellow little guy. He is also a great eater and a great sleeper (sometimes he even sleeps 6-8 hours at night!) He doesn't like messy diapers or being in his carseat though, but who can blame him?
Silas and the girls are glad to have Daddy home for the summer (as is Leah!) Geoff finished his second semester of the nursing program and is planning on spending much family time this summer. He'll post some thoughts/reflections on this last semseter soon.

welcome to the world, lil' silas! i look forward to meeting you sometime before you turn one. remember that, ok? our lil' dietrich will be overjoyed to meet you, he just loves little kids. God put you into that hands of some outstanding parents and we know that you'll be raised in the grace and love of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
What a beautiful family ... can't wait til we get to see you in person (late July).
