Leah's days are seeming longer and longer...
Here's Abbie and Leah crumpled at the end of a long day last week!
He is Risen...He is Risen Indeed!
Greetings from the Dykstra Family South!
We just celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this weekend, focusing on the first verse of Romans 8: "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." This verse reminds us that we no longer are bound by sin to death, rather through faith in Christ Jesus, we can stand free, through Jesus' victory over death. Free to live, free from fear, and free from death - living in the assurance of life after death-in heaven with God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Please join us in praise to the Lord for His faithfulness to us, and to human history for the work that was done on the cross, to defeat death in the resurrection-in order that we may live...through Christ Jesus!
Living in the realization of these truths allows the Christian to give to the Lord many of the worries and fears that we often consider burdensome, in order to walk in faith, in order that God may prove Himself faithful. God has been doing this for our family! God continues to provide for our needs at home and school and we look forward to His continued provision of our needs as He grows our family by one in the coming month! Lord willing...Dykstra baby #3 is coming in less than one month!
This coming week, Geoff is home from school for spring break! We are spending some much-needed family time together in the midst of Geoff preparing ahead schoolwork for during the arrival of the baby. :-)
Leah was able to finish sewing two beautiful dresses for Abbie and Keely, just in time to celebrate the Resurrection! And just in time to have the baby :-) We hope this post finds you well!
